    Fernando Rielo Pardal, Spanish humanist, was born in Madrid on August 28, 1923. He died in New York on December 6, 2004, where he had resided since 1988 due to special medical assistance. Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), Member of the "Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española" and of the "Centro Internacional de Estudios Hispánicos".
