    The Hawaii food scene is better than ever, brimming with new exciting restaurants as well as classic local institutions. What we are seeing now is an influx of Michelin starred chefs (both foreign and domestic), mainland concepts, and emerging local talent with 4-star resumes. She has appeared as a competitor on reality television cooking competitions, and she is a Top Chef television series alum. Wong was based in New York City, before moving to Hawaii in 2013.[1][2] She has also worked extensively as a culinary producer for American television series, including for kvartet seasons of Top Chef.
