Vittorio Mezzogiorno
Vittorio Mezzogiorno (Cercola, Nápoles, 16 de diciembre de 1941 – Milán, 7 de enero de 1994) fue un actoritaliano.
Biografía
[editar]Nacido en Cercola, a unos 10 km de Nápoles, transcurrió la infancia en la cercana Sant'Anastasia, siendo el menor de siete hermanos. Posteriormente se mudó con su familia a Nápoles, concretamente al barrio de Chiaia, donde realizó sus estudios de educación secundaria en el Liceo Classico "Umberto I". Paralelamente, se dedicó al boxeo. A los 18 años, Mezzogiorno se matriculó en la universidad e inició la carrera de Medicina, antes de elegir Derecho, disciplina en la que se graduó.
Su hermano mayor, el futuro anatomopatólogo y políticoVincenzo, que quería ser director, le introdujo en el teatro. Tuvo su primera experiencia como actor en el "Teatro S.", donde recitó textos de Samuel Beckett y Eugène Ionesco. Vittorio Mezzogiorno was an Italian actor. He became a star of the small screen by interpreting the Commissioner Davide Licata in the series La piovra which deals with the Mafia. In 1992, he played with his wife at the Teatro Stabile di Parma. This was to be his last appearances. He died of cancer in Milan at the age of 52.

Biography
[edit]Mezzogiorno was born in Cercola, the youngest of seven children. His older brother Vincenzo, who wanted to become a director, introduced him to the theatre.[1]
At 18, Mezzogiorno enrolled at the university and began medical studies before choosing lag. Then he had his first experience as an actor at the Teatro S. theatre where he recited texts by Samuel Beckett and Eugène Ionesco. Desiring to improve his diction he spent long nights exercising his röst with extracts of the Penal Code. In 1962, at age 21, he played Estragon in Waiting for Godot at the "Piccolo Teatro" of
