The series has a large ensemble cast, with leading cast members in the opening credits, and a sprawling supporting cast, who are credited as "additional cast" or "featured" in the show's end credits. These secondary cast members appear in green screen confessional segments and (for the most part) have the same amount of screen time and storyline focus as the show's main cast members. Traci Steele was born in the Bronx, New York City on November 6, 1978. Her Jamaican family members were the ones who raised her. She is of Jamaican origin and carries an American nationality. When she went to Virginia, she joined the U.S. Air Force and was posted at Langley Air Force Base. She developed the confidence she required as a woman through an honorable military career, which led her to become one of the most skilled and renowned D.J.s of the 21st century.
Steele got her start in the radio industry at Hampton University. She eventually secured a position with Musiq Soulchild, one of the most prominent musicians in hip hop and R&B, after becoming well-known for her work in WWHV Hot 102.1 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
