Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman (zən-DAY-ə;[2] born September 1, )[3][4] is an American actress and singer. Her accolades include two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. In , Time named her one of the most influential people in the world.
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya began her career as a child model and backup dancer. She made her television debut as Rocky Blue in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up (–) and starred as the titular character in the channel's sitcom K.C. Undercover (–). Her feature film debut came in as MJ in the superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming; she later reprised her role in its sequels Far from Home () and No Way Home (). Zendaya's role as Rue Bennett, a struggling drug-addicted teenager, in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria (–present)

Zendaya News: Actor Admits She’s Been Nervous About Challengers
Despite having been in the public eye for more than half her life, Zendaya isn’t above experiencing prerelease jitters. The year-old Challengers star shared some behind-the-scenes photos from filming on Instagram three days before the movie’s April 26 release and opened up about her nerves.
“This is my first time leading a film in this way so ya girls been nervous but everyones excitement and encouragement has meant the world to me,” she wrote, later adding, “try not to judge the characters too much lol.”

From to , she produced and acted as K.C. Cooper in the sitcom K.C. Undercover.[5] In , she started playing the main role in the HBO drama series Euphoria.[6] Her performance as a teenage drug addict made her the youngest winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.[7]
