    On Thursday, the customs department arrested Fallon Guliwala(40), the wife of actor-turned-politician Ajaz Khan, over a month after his staff member was apprehended for ordering grams of mephedrone(MDMA) through a courier. Guliwala, a foreign national, was detained following a raid by the agency at her home in Jogeshwari on Wednesday, where various drugs were seized.

    Her name surfaced in the ongoing drug smuggling investigation, which began on October 8 when the agency arrested Ajaz’s peon, Suraj Gaud. The drugs, meant for delivery to Ajaz's office at B, Oberoi Chambers, Veera Desai Industrial Estate in Andheri, were linked to the case. Gaud was charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and, during questioning, claimed that although the parcel was addressed to him, it was regularly ordered by Ajaz’s nephew, Farhan.
