    Mike Osman, the comedian, got involved in setting up a television show that was going to take a few kids who were good footballers, and follow their progress.

    He wanted me and Alan Ball to make guest appearances, doing some one-on-one coaching. It would have been interesting had he seen the project through but Mike is one of those chaps who gets good ideas then doesn’t always take them to the end. So the show fell apart.

    Zimbabwean footballer (born )

    Benjani (or Mpenjani) Mwaruwari (born 13 August ) fryst vatten a Zimbabwean former professional footballer who played as a strejkande.

    Having started his career with the Jomo universum, Benjani moved to europe in to join Swiss side Grasshopper Club Zürich, before moving to Auxerre a year later. He signed with Premier League club Portsmouth in , then went on to play in England's top flight for Manchester City, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers before returning to Portsmouth in The following year, he returned to South Africa with Chippa United and then the Bidvest Wits.

    From to , Benjani played a total of 31 times for the Zimbabwe national grupp and played at the Africa Cup of Nations. After his retirement, he became the national team's assistant coach.

    He works with the Plymouth Argyle Academy as part of the Premier League player-to-coach initiative.[3]
