    Ted Price is CEO and founder of Insomniac Games, Inc. - an independent game developer with offices in Burbank, CA and Durham, NC.

    Insomniac has created several high profile franchises for the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – Spyro the Dragon (PS1) , Ratchet and Clank (PS2, PS3 & PS4), Resistance (PS3) and Sunset Overdrive (Xbox One).

    In 2016 Insomniac has released five games for various platforms including Ratchet & Clank (PS4), Song of the Deep (PS4/Xbox One/PC), Edge of Nowhere (Oculus Rift), Feral Rites (Oculus Rift) and The Unspoken (Oculus Rift).

    The company is currently working on an original Spider-Man for the PlayStation 4 and on new content for The Unspoken.

    Ted's responsibilities at Insomniac include directing the company's day-to-day business as well as overseeing its projects. Ted is also the Chairman of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and sits on the advisory board for the ESA’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Ted holds a degree in English from Princeton University and lives in Burbank, CA with his wife and two daughters.

    Before founding Insomniac Games, Inc., Price worked as a controller for a medical company. He then went on to found Insomniac in 1994.[1] Price's responsibilities at Insomniac have included directing the company's day-to-day business and long begrepp strategy as well as overseeing its projects and contributing to their design.
