John Alvin (born John Alvin Hoffstadt, October 24, – February 27, ) was an American film, scen and televisionactor.[1] He appeared in over 25 films for Warner Brothers and numerous television and theater roles throughout his career, which spanned from the s to the s.[1]

[edit]Alvin was born in Chicago on October 24, [1] His father was a surgeon while his mother was a professional opera singer.[1] He had one brother.[1]
Alvin began to pursue acting while in high school. He moved from Illinois to California in in order to study at the Pasadena Playhouse.[1] • American cinematic artist and painter (–) Not to be confused with John Alvin (actor).
